Camp Director

Coach John Krane

Coach John Krane is the Head Baseball Coach at Evergreen High School.

Krane played baseball at Shawnee Mission East High School. He was recruited to Washburn University where he finished his collegiate career with a .352 batting average and All-Conference recognition. Krane went on to play semi-professional baseball with the Topeka Owls and Olathe Raiders in the Jayhawk, Ban Johnson and Stan Musial Leagues for six seasons.

Coach Krane has over 20 years of coaching experience starting at his alma mater. He has led American Legion teams and was an infield & hitting instructor for Sports Tutor Baseball Academy. Coach Krane has also worked with West Jeff Little League Baseball and Softball, including recording a League Championship.

Additionally, Coach Krane skippered the Colorado USA Prime Aces, a college showcase travel team. His USA Prime Club Team has traveled throughout Colorado and to Dallas, Chicago, Kansas City, and Los Angeles.

Coach Krane is excited to bring his experience and knowledge of the game to the Revolution Baseball Camps.

Camp Overview

Congress Park is an urban gem that features a variety of athletic fields, tennis courts, a pool and more. We’re excited to host the Revolution Baseball Camps at Congress Park. Join us and improve your baseball skills this summer!

Camp is open to all ages and ability levels. Each camper will be assessed and grouped with campers of similar age and ability levels. Adjustments to the groups may be made throughout the week to provide campers with opportunities to train with and compete against different players. Drills, games, and scrimmages are designed to help each camper learn, improve, and have fun!

Camp Details

Full Day Campers: Check in at 8:45 am on Monday (9:00 am every other day). Campers should be picked up at 4:00 pm each day. (Bring a bagged lunch)

Half Day Campers (option for 5-8 year old): Check in at 8:45 am on Monday (9:00 am every other day). Campers should be picked up at 12:00 pm each day.

Equipment Needed: Make sure campers bring all necessary baseball equipment (bat, helmet, glove, cleats, shoes, etc.), refillable water bottle, sunscreen, lunch and snack. *Lunch is not included.

Team Discounts Available (5-9 Players get $25 off; 10+ Players get $35 off)

Camp is open to all ability levels ages 5 to 15.
